A perfect way to spend your time while waiting for your child’s dance class, or to complement one of our Adult dance classes! Our Pilates and Barre classes will help to improve your posture, strength and flexibility, and give you a chance to de-stress while taking some time for yourself.
Barre classes combine elements of Ballet and Pilates for a workout that engages your core and helps improve your strength and flexibility. These classes are suitable for adults and a great way to fit in a workout while your dancer is in class, and are also beneficial for our senior dancers (age 16+) looking for additional cross-training. All levels are welcome!
2020-21 Classes: Tuesdays at 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.*

- Fall Session: September 29 to December 15
- Winter Session: January 5 to March 23
- Spring Session: April 6 to June 22
Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment. It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Pilates builds strength without excess bulk.
It is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates also improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain.
