Summer Classes

Registration for 2021 Summer Classes NOW OPEN

Our summer dance classes are created for dancers with experience who wish to keep up their strength and conditioning with continued training over the summer, and adults looking for ways to stay physically active in a fun, welcoming environment.

At this time classes are scheduled to take place in-studio (except where otherwise stated), and will be conducted in accordance with the public health guidelines in place when they begin.

For Experienced Dancers

For dancers with previous experience to keep dancing over the summer while working to improve their strength and technique.

Six week session runs July 12 to August 23 (no classes August 2).

Highland Challenge

For experienced Highland dancers wanting to improve their strength and agility through new challenges and weekly choreography combos.

  • Beginner / Novice – Wednesdays @ 5:45 PM
  • Intermediate / Premier – Wednesdays @ 4:30 PM

Highland Theory Prep

For Highland dancers wanting to test their theory knowledge in preparation for graded Highland exams.

  • SDTA Grades 1 to 3 – Mondays @ 4:30 PM
  • SDTA Grades 4 to 6 – Mondays @ 5:45 PM

Irish Drills & Combos

For experienced Irish dancers to keep up their strength and improve technique with new drills and combos danced to upbeat, popular music.

  • Tuesdays @ 6:15 PM

Tap Combo

For dancers with tap experience looking for new steps and combos. Suitable for both children and adults who have previously taken a Tap class.

Ballet Conditioning

For experienced Ballet dancers to enhance their Ballet training during the summer months with new exercises for conditioning, strength and flexibility.

  • Mondays @ 5:30 PM

Stretch for Dancers

For dancers to maintain flexibility and strength over the summer to support proper dance technique and to prevent injury. Highly recommended for all dancers, especially those in a competitive program.

Barre for Dancers

Barre for Dancers provides cross-training to develop strength, flexibility and core to support all dance types using moves inspired by Ballet and Pilates. Suitable for dancers age 12+.

Fitness Classes Adults

Fitness classes for adults who want to develop their strength and flexibility while caring for your overall health and wellness by staying active through the summer months.


Adult summer fitness classes take place in 4-week sessions in June, July and August. Register for multiple classes or sessions to receive a discount!

Pilates (ONLINE)

Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment which teaches body awareness, good posture, and easy, graceful movement. Pilates also improves strength, flexibility, agility and economy of motion. Note: Pilates classes will take place online except when otherwise arranged with the students.

Barre Bootcamp (IN STUDIO)

Barre classes combine elements of Ballet and Pilates for a workout that engages your core and helps improve your strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome!

  • July Session – July 7 to 28

  • August Session – August 4 to 25

    • Wednesday @ 7:00 PM

2021 Summer Class Fees:

Below are the fees for the 4, 6 and 8 week sessions we are offering for summer classes this year. If you are taking multiple classes, each additional class is discounted.

Important Notes About Summer Class Registration:

  • An invoice for the classes will be emailed to you within 10 business days of receiving your registration.
  • Payment may be made by the following methods:
    • Credit card (link will be sent to pay online)
    • E-transfer
  • Payment is due in full no later than one week prior to classes starting.
  • If your dancer must withdraw from the class due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us by email no later than one week prior to your class start date.
    • Refunds cannot be issued for withdrawals received within one week of the class starting or after the session has begun.
